Shīmenj means sister in Algonquin and that is exactly what this collection represents. Sisterhood, community, and the power of Indigenous women lifting each other up.

The Shīmenj Set is a limited edition collaboration between Kokom Scrunchies and Kegona Tenasco, 2026 Miss Indigenous Canada Delegate from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg. The set features two luxurious 100% satin scrunchies with original artwork designed by Kitigan Zibi Anishnabe artist Destiny Cote, presented in an exclusive black lace pearl wristlet pouch.

This set is available for a very limited time only. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

100% of proceeds go directly toward Kegona’s journey to Six Nations in July, where she will compete for the title of Miss Indigenous Canada. A donation will also be made to the Sunshine House in Winnipeg, the charity chosen by the reigning Miss Indigenous Canada.
